Soapbox: K3WWP - Well, after giving out about 25-30 QSO's with KB3MQT myself, I managed to work Larry (W2LJ) using KB3MQT this evening (10/26) to satisfy the challenge and keep my record intact of making all the NAQCC sprints and challenges for the Participation Award.

PART ONE: (Now Completed) A special certificate will be issued at no charge to the first amateur who works the new NAQCC club call of KB3MQT and meets the following qualifications:

1. The amateur must be a NAQCC member.
2. Club officers (KB3LFC, K3WWP, and W2LJ) are not eligible.
3. The QSO must be 2xQRP and (obviously) 2xCW.

There will be no operating times or exact frequencies announced, so you'll just have to find us. We will probably be somewhere around the standard QRP frequencies. Our operation will begin on October 5.

Part one of our October Challenge is now complete as Kevin, KI4DEF hunted down and worked KB3MQT on 10/5 at 2034Z in a 2xQRP QSO on 40M. Kevin will receive his special certificate as soon as Tom and I design one. - K3WWP

PART TWO: Simply work KB3MQT AND mention it to us (KB3LFC or K3WWP) via email. That satisfies the challenge and gives you a Participation Award point.

Beyond that you can also get a certificate. It is free for KI4DEF who was the first member to work KB3MQT. However we must charge a small fee for all others since as you well know, the NAQCC has no membership dues. The fee will be $2 in US funds via cash, check, or money order only. The following qualifications apply:

1. Anyone - club members, club officers, or non-members are eligible.
2. The QSO must be 2xQRP and (obviously) 2xCW.
