Soapbox:
K3WWP - I satisfied this challenge at 0036Z on 10/1 by working KG4W using N3A/3. I believe that was our first N3A QSO of the month, but I hope there will be a few hundred QSO's by the time the month is over.

KS4DU - worked five N3A stations during the QRP ARCI Fall QSO Party. During the QSO party I also worked the FISTS national club station KN0WCW operated by Rem K6BBQ. After checking our web site I found out that Rem is the scheduled op for N3A/6. No wonder I couldn't find N3A/6 during the contest!! Well, I decided to keep an ear out for him and just found him calling CQ N3A/6. After two QSOs with me using two different callsigns, Rem promises me that next time I will actually get K6BBQ logged. Thanks Rem.

K4PBY - Congradulations to NAQCC on it's 3rd anniversary. Thanks for all the great club activities and events.

VA3RKM - I was especially grateful to work N3A in the FISTS and QRP ARCI contests. Good work!

PREMISE:
Work (or have signed up and operate) our 3rd anniversary special event call of N3A.

TIME FRAME:
Oct 1, 2007 0000Z through Oct 31, 2007 2400Z

RULES:
Simply work or operate our special event call in October. If you want to operate it, you must have signed up previously.

Of course all QSO's must be 2X CW and you must be using QRP power.

SCHEDULE:

Schedule: See the special N3A page

AWARDS:
See the N3A page for certificate/QSL info.

For the challenge, all the operators listed above will receive a special certificate, and the one who contacts the most different N3A/# stations will get a certificate.

PRIZE:
A set of beautiful bug or paddle handles. These pieces are beautifully hand crafted and donated by Gregg, WB8LZG. To see what they look like check them out here.

Everyone who earns a participation point as outlined in the next section is eligible to win the prize. A list of those eligible will be sent to Gregg, WB8LZG who will select a winner at random. An individual can only win one set of paddles after which they become ineligible for future drawings. At Gregg's request, NAQCC officers are also eligible for all his bug/paddle handle prizes.

PARTICIPATION AWARD AND WEB LISTING:
Simply work (or operate) N3A and report your results for a web listing and Participation Point.

LOGS:
NOTE: this info applies ONLY to the challenge results. If you worked the station and want a certificate and/or QSL for that, see the N3A page.

Operators just report how many QSO's you made using N3A/#. Those who contact N3A/#, report how many different N3A/# stations you contacted. YOU MUST TELL US you satisfied the challenge. It is not automatic just because you worked or operated N3A.
You may also include comments about the challenge. Please preface any comments you want posted with "SOAPBOX:" so we will know what you want posted and what is private.

Send your results to:
