Joe Moore - KF0XV - NAQCC # 0585
Hello everybody, My name is Joe Moore NAQCC #585 and my QTH is Kansas City, Ks. I have enjoyed Ham Radio for about 16 years now and CW is my favorite part of the hobby, although I also rag chew on SSB. I've been doing QRP CW for about 2 years now off and on but been 100% QRP for the past 6 months or so. My main Rig is a 746pro, great rig for CW. I also use the TS-520SE and a Heathkit HW-101 along with the 8-pole 500hz CW filter I picked up from Alden McDuffie inc. and recommend this filter to anybody. I also use a TenTec Century 21 CW rig That you can't see in the picture. The Amp is an old Heathkit HL-2200 2KW That I use to talk to some friends down south and out west on 75 meters. My antennas are simple wire antennas. A 135ft long wire 20' high, a 40 meter dipole fed with 450ohm window line that I use on all bands, and a commercial vertical, cushcraft R-6000. 72 and look forward to meeting you guys. God Bless.
