I was first licensed in 1973 and activity has ebbed and flowed perfectly to catch the bottoms of most sunspot cycles. After cleaning out the shack a few years ago and simplifying my ham life I re-discovered the fun of operating QRP. What a great crowd of operators out there just above the noise threshold. I use a Ten-Tec Argonaut V at 5 watts and Heath HW-9 for back up. My antennas are an 80 meter long Zepp, 80 meter inverted vee, 8JK flat-top beam, and 30 meter vee beam. I try to get on daily with 80 and 40 meters being most reliable lately, but my favorite band is 30 meters. 73, John
