SOAPBOX:

AB9BZ - Got a chance to get on with the zBitx. Thanks for the sprint, 72

WD4OHD - I could only stick around for part of the first hour tonight but managed to make a few good contacts. Thanks to all.

KA8HDE - Been a while but glad to get some time tonight.

KD0V - 20M was very poor at this QTH. 40M was good until 0215 and it died also. Good sprint again as usual. Thanks everyone for the QWO'w.

K9NUD - 40 Meters was great tonight, but 80 was pretty noisy. I just couldn't pull out a contact with a VT station (sorry!). I had to call it quits early tonight. Thanks for all the great contacts. KX3@ 5W using a cootie (what else :-)

WG8Y - HI all, no 20m here tonite. Worked 9 on 40m. took a quick look at 80m and found K9NUD, Steve for a 2nd band. Cool. 72 all from N.C. Mark WG8Y

K3RLL - With all the power between my EFRW on the garage roof and that not-so-awesome after dark vertical, I heard nothing on 20m here this evening. But on 40m however, there was pretty good activity and I was fortunate to find four skilled ops with good ears. Big signal into FL tonight was my former neighbor K3JZD in PA. Fun playing with my early K2. 72... Don

N4MJ - SLOW NIGHT. Nothing heard on 20 or 80m. Tnx to all participants. 73 de n4mj

KE3V - Seems all of the action was on 40 and 80m tonight. I had a good time with my 509 and bug.

NO2D - Started late. 80 M & 40 M weak with lots of noise. Considered myself lucky to be able to make two contacts. Pete, NO2D.

NA4O - Very low noise on 40M but mostly pretty light signals. Then 40M QRP was done for here at 0300Z when CWT attacked the band. KX3 @ 5W, Vibroplex straight key.

K4KRW - Bands were pretty quiet here in Charlotte. I didn't hear a lot of signals on 40m. 80m was better. Thanks everyone! Richard

KN2G - Tonight my one goal was a hat trick. KC5F was my only lonely 20m contact and also my most likely candidate based on past almosts. Tonight I got it. Thanks Steve! Hopefully I will find that irrational impulse abating moving forward. It was an unusual night with few stations heard on 40 and 80 but I worked everything I heard (no the ATT was not on). But a satisfying night with one personal milestone achieved. And to K9NUD sorry Steve for the dupe! I pray everone has a Blessed Thanksgiving. We really have a lot to be thankful for..... Peace! ken

KN1H - Nice to hear everyone on tonight and a treat to work KC5F on all three bands, a pretty rare occurrence, for me anyway! 72, John, KN1H, Solar battery powered IC7300, Nye Viking Master Key.

K1MZM - Good to hear everyone tonight. Moderate QRN here allowed me to work several weak signals. I hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving holiday.

VE3DQN - Hi noise level on 40m tonight. Can't take it for long. 80m after 0305 turned out to clear signals and pleasant operating.

K9QEW - All QSOs on 40 meters. Condx rough S6 noise level. Tried 20m NO LUCK 72/73s ICOM 7300, 4BTV & J38 Key.

KC5F - Not much on 20, but 40 and 80 made up for it. 4 stations on all three bands. Mostly northeastern and north central US, plus Fred, DK1VD on 40. Hardly any "locals" in the southeastern US, even on 80. Lots of fun, as usual. Thanks, all! 72/73, Steve

K2OID - 40 was mediocre tonight until 0300 when the CWT contest made QRP impossible. QSYed to 80, but had to change rigs and use a paddle in "sideswipe" mode, so Tnx everyone for tolerating my awful fist. Still fun though.

K3JZD - This was one of the those evenings here in WPA where 40m started out good, then suddenly everyone disappeared. Had a nice low noise level, but no signals. Then some signals would pop in for a little bit. Managed to make a few more QSOs on 80m whenever the CWT chased me off of 40m. But, while challenging, was still good QRP fun!! K4 at 5 watts to wire antennas. 72, Jody - K3JZD

N9JFZ - No luck on 20, contacts on 40 & 80. 40 was very busy. Look forward to next month. 72, Rusty N9JFZ

WB1GYZ - So much for the tuna-tin-two. Back into storage for another ten years.

NF8M - Op time about 1/2 hr. 40 meters nonexistent but was busy later in the CWT. 80 in good shape, quiet and solid prop within 500 miles or so. Tnx qsos es 72

K6GPB - Called CQ NA a number of times but only made the RBN as far as the Midwest on 20. Bands were quiet tonight until CWT. Always fun to at least try. Look forward to next month. 72 DE K6GPB

K8NGW - Working my new Xiegu VK-6 paddle. Strange propagation tonight. I called on 20M for 10 minutes ... no takers. RBN showed I was hitting the Rocky Mtn states, Canada, and Alaska(!), but absolutely nothing to the East! Strong signals on 40 and 80. Happy Thanksgiving everybody! See you all next month.

WX4RM - Conditions were good on 40 and 80 meters, but 20 meters had closed way before the sprint started here. Had fun as always. Happy Thanksgiving !

DK1VD - Today it was difficult, slow QSB, but I could hear K2JDZ and KC5F, after a while I worked KC5F, thank you very much 72.

AI5BE - I heard 0 stations calling CQ NA on all 3 bands. Called CQ for a while on all 3 bands and only got 1 response. Hope the bands are better for the next one!

W8GG - Hello Fello Sprinters ! Tough nite fer me last eve. 20 was closing just at the start of the sprint, but i did find KD0V, Melin there for 1 QSO before going to 40M. 40 seemed a bit noisy. I dont have the OMPAH wid my vertical, and heard many stations that did not hear me. Still garnered 3 more QSOs before gg QRT fer the nite. Always fun to work the sprints. Hope to hear you all next month and the mw sprint too. 73 Gregg W8GG

KA6J - Tough conditions here in So. central TX. Called on 20- no response. Moved to 40 and very few signals, then the CWT gang moved in. Finally had an evening when I could join in! (I have other commitments on Tuesday's) Thanks to those who pulled me out and sorry for those who called that were buried in the noise! Guess I need to get something up for 80M.

KM3D - Lazy fun on 40 and 80 meters with FTDx3000 back at 5W. SprintLogger (linux) runs great -Thanks! Big contact with KA6J in Texas -real 40m DX for me! See you guys in the MW Sprint next month... 72

KC3RN - Rough condx here tonight. Couldn't hear much on 40 or 20. Did manage a few on 80, but my noise level was S9.

K4WY - WOW What a grrat night. One for the record books! I was slighly paniced when neither 20 nor 40 produced a single QSO despite multiple attempts. I rolled up to 80 and logged many QSos form old and new friends. Especially encouraged by all the 5 digit NAQCC numbers - thats a good sign of growth in the group. Logging W2SH #56 was a great moment too. 72s K4WY

KA2KGP - 20m. was nil, but 40 & 80 came alive here in WNY this NA Sprint. A good turnout & good conditions made a good Sprint. 73 to all & Happy Thanksgiving !

KB2GKC - Bands a little noisy tonight. I did have openings on 40m early in the evening. Thanks for the contacts K4KBL, K9NUD, AF4PX and WB9HFK.

KK4ITX - Had two but lost both. Worked 20/40/80 1-1/2 hrs SE was dead S7 noise. Night times are very rough down in Florida for me.

WA2FBN - Did not hear much activity on the bands tonight. TNX 72 Ken

KQ1P - Tough night at my QTH. S7 QRN on top of dead bands. No QSO's. Next time will be better!

N2TNN - Good fun as the bands were in good shape. 72, Dean

W2SH - 20m was not open here. 40m was active, but when the CW ops arrived, 80m was the place to be.

KC2EGL - First sprint in a long time. I have only myself to blame for that. Between rough band conditions and my laptop going on a crash frenzy I only logged 2 qso's in the first hour. Hopefully better luck next time. 73 Michael kc2egl

VE3IIM - Nothing here on 20m, 40m was poor. 80m was good..Many weak calling me, but no go...Will be back next month!

N7KM - I was setup with with my favorite rig and antenna to do the sprint, but Mother Nature didn't lend a hand. Five minutes before starting time the bands were workable. I made a few pre-sprint QSOs, then at 01:30 the band went dead. First time ever I got 0 contacts and was skunked! My XYL and I did use the last hour to enjoy an old movie. I'll be back next month.

KC3MIO - I was looking forward to putting my Argonaut 509 on the air with a newly acquired 208 CW filter, but could not hear anyone on 20 or 40. I finally switched to my 7300 at 5 watts into my 288' horizontal loop. Only three contacts on 40 (none on 20) and I was almost ready to give up. I was hoping to get to double digits. Finally switched to 80 and it was very good - 17 contacts. In the end, a good time. I found out later that one of the connections was open on the Argonaut and it is working well. Maybe next month. 73/72 tnx to my contacts and Happy Thanksgiving to all. Rich
