N9EEE - QRN on 40m was ferocious but my best band. Go figure.

NF8M - Nice night for a few QSOs. Set up my FT818 on the deck, dialed it down to the lowest power (puts out a bit under one watt), fed the EFHW and used my Code Warrior as a straight key because I couldn't find my little portable straight key. Heard a couple sigs on 20, called CQ but no answers, so went to 40 and found activity. Went QRT as the 'skeeters were coming out. Always an adventure making a QSO with power that won't light up a light bulb. 72 and tnx for the QSOs.

AB9BZ - Got on the air with the Recent RS-918 at 1W, thanks for the QRPp contact and contest. 72 ab9bz

N8HWV - So glad to get K4JPN in the log. I also heard KM3D, KA2NE?, KN2G, 10008. One is better than none at 100 mW. Running 10 W into a 20 dB, 20 W attenuator.

KC5F - Just like last week, 20m was quiet with decent but few signals, and 40m with lots of QRN had more folks to work. Zilch on 80m this week. Things seemed to drop off a lot after the first hour, with only five worked the second hour. But it can't always be easy like it is with the normal "high power" 5w! 73, Steve

KN2G - I missed last week due to too much heat.... Today I sliced my keying hand down to the meat and earned 9 stitches by 2 pm... However, I could not miss 2 sprints in a row! So bandaged hand on key I braved the slow swells of static and had a satisfying evening. Kudos to the great ops and patient repeats. 900 mw to the KX2 and the single lever mini paddle attached to the angle/swivel mount. Perfect for slightly a mangled hand. Very happy with my results all things considered! Now to heal up for FD....72

KG5OWB - First time doing mW sprint - lots of fun. 20m was good in STX this evening. Apologies to a few I couldn't pull out of the mist. KX2@1w into CHA-TDL up 15 ft using a hitch mount on my trunk parked on a hilltop at a local park. Beautiful evening to play radio! - 72! - Terry/KG5OWB

K3JZD - 20m not real noisy, 40m had noise spikes up to S9. 80 not real noisy. But most QSOs were on 40m. My FLEX radio power setting gave me either 500mw or 1200mw. So went with the 500mw. Thanks to all of you with good receivers and good ears, 500mw was enough. Although sadly I did have to give up on a couple callers. WG8Y - Hi all, I played on my back patio with my KX1 running off a 9 volt battery into a Butternut HF6V in the back corner of my yard.Rig was showing between 800 & 900 MW. Heard a few weak signals on 20m but no contacts. Went to 40m. Started out signals were down but band shifted around 01:40. signals came up to solid S6/7 or better. Mark, W1AFF came thru with S7 signal and when he signed he was solid S9. Worked a couple more and then pulled the plug at 0205.Had Fun. 72 all from N.C. Mark WG8Y

K3RLL - 20m only and, at least down here in the Sunshine State, signals got a lot weaker after 00:45 or so.

VE3IIM - T-storms made the bands noisy..Sorry to the ones calling, but I could not hear. Fun event, as usual..

KK4ITX - At least this week I was able to hear a few stations but not well enough to QSO. FT-818@1w.

KM3D - I had hopes for 20 meters but rough going there. 40 was lots better. Getting older here; ran out of steam with a half-hour to go. Many thanks for digging my signal out of the noise! 72, Harry KM3D

KA2KGP - 40m. was the best band this Mw Sprint, but I had 3 QSO's on 80m, none on 20m. Rig: IC-7000 at 1w. into a G5RV up 20 ft. w/ straight key for contacts, but memory Keyer for CQ's. 73 to all QRPp'ers !

WI8J - IC-705 at 1 Watt

KA8VZB - Ten-Tec Argosy @ 500 mW to 60 ft end fed wire up 20 ft. Only worked 40M which was surprisingly quiet here in northern VA. Thanks to all! 72, Joe

N5GW - There was some kind of line noise superimposed on the regular summer time 20 meter QRN, making copy of weak milliwatt signals difficult. I was hesitant to call CQ NA because I was afraid I would not be able to read responses - therefore I pulled the big switch after three S&P QSOs!

WA1GWH - Worked only 40m and static was pretty bad. Not many ops on, or at least that I could hear. I worked only four stations in the hour or so that I put in. Ops seemed to hear me better than I them. I had the SW-40+ set to 900 mW output. Thanks for the contacts!

AA0W - Storms in the area 20 Meters open heavy fading. Thanks to all for copy on the Mwt sprint.

AK3X - Fun event but lots of other things I was supposed to be doing
